
You can vary your knitting in countless ways. It gives your work personality and variety. A faux cable - like here in Hedvig's Sister Sweater - is a super nice and feminine twist to a good and usable everyday sweater.
When designing the sweater, choose 4 stitches in the raglan stripe, and instead of just knitting the 4 stitches straight down over the yoke - try this cable type pattern out instead:

One pattern report is knitted over 6 rounds and repeated as many times as neede for your design.
