Roll neck sweater in a heavy cashmere/merino.
The sweater is named after paleobotanist and women's advocate Marie Stopes. Stopes, unsurprisingly, was not allowed to explore the Antarctic regions back at the beginning of the last century. The sweater reminds us of ice and cold and so we think the name is fitting.
It has 15 cm ease, regular sleeves with decreases and 4 raglan stitches. I knitted the sleeves extra long so they could be folded up to match the roll neck.
I am 169 cm (5' 6") tall and my Stopes sweater has a back length of 57 cm. It is knitted in Maxi VIP from Lana Gatto (100m/50g) in the colour 12504.
The gauge is 17 stitches x 25 rows pr. 10 x 10 cm on 6 mm needles. I used 500 g Maxi VIP and have a bust curcumference of 92 cm (+ease).
The vest is knitted top down. The pattern is unique and calculated to fit your measurements. The pattern is in English and will be sent as a pdf file to your e-mail.
