Lucy Sweater (pattern)
The Lucy Sweater is the first collaborative design we have created with WoolCollective. It is also our first AlmaKnit Hack Design. But what is that? It is a design we have made based on a basic pattern from AlmaKnits Design Program, but after that, we let our imagination and ideas run free.
Lucy is an airy but surprisingly warm summer blouse in a simple textured pattern. It is knitted on size 4 needles. The textured pattern uses wrap stitches or long stitches which, along with random purl rows, break up the knitting surface.
It has about 12-19 cm/4.5-8" of ease and measures 50 cm/20" at the back (in all sizes). The sleeves are not fully long and stop before the wrists.
Lucy is knitted with one strand of kid seta silk-mohair from Gepard Garn and one strand of WoolCollective's own Skinny BASC, which is an ultra-thin (800m/50g) and utterly delightful combination of baby alpaca, cashmere, and silk.
Gauge/Tension: 23 stitches og 35 rows pr. 15 x 15 cm/6x6" on needle 4 in lace pattern.
