Tricoter Beret

Tricoter Beret is a traditional beret with a rolling edge. The beret is knitted from the bottom up in one piece and is finished off with an i-cord top. The perfect scrap-yarn/weekend project.

The pattern is adjusted to your measurements. The beret has a gauge (tension) of 22 stitches x 32 rows per 10 x 10 cm (approx. 4 x 4 inches) on 4 mm needles. I have knitted it in one thread of Pernilla and one of Tilia both from Filcolana. The red is the colour chinese red 218 in both yarns. The grey is a combination of Pernilla light gray 954 og Tilia ash 330. I used just over half a skein of each yarn.
